SUP Leash & Accessories
These leashes are made using elastic shockcord in a single webbing tube to limit snagging and keep kit simple.
  • SUP Leash for Touring / Sea - soft railsaver
  • SUP Leash for Touring / Sea - stainless dive spring clip
  • SUP Leash for Whitewater  - micro screwgate & swivel
  • SUP Quick Release Element
  • SUP Whitewater Belt

What Length Leash?
Regarding all our leashes the length refers to the maximum extension. For example a 10ft6" leash will extend to at least 10ft6" and will have a static length of approx 5ft6".
For a touring SUP consider the length from stern anchor point to your standing point and how much further forward you need to move; that will be half the board length plus another foot or so walking forwards.
For a whitewater SUP it is advisable to be able to walk forwards and step off the front of the SUP whilst attached to the leash.

This can also be used with an inflatable touring board

The soft loop end connects to the board using a simple "Larks Hitch" as seen in the image on the right - here the large ring simulates an anchor ring on the board. The soft loop therefore acts as a rail saver and keeps connectors to a minimum. The D ring connects to a waist belt - see the SUP Belt below.

SUP Quick Release Element

This can be added to your own system in many variations to suit your own personal set up. It features the unique stainless quick release buckle. The loop can be attached using a "Larks Hitch" directly to a board anchor D ring or directly to a wasit belt D ring. It is provided with a stainless keyring which can be threaded onto a standard coil leash swivel (remove the ankle leash and connect directly to the swivel).

SUP Quick Release Element with removeable Swivel Karabiner

Here you can combine the quick release element with the swivel karabiner to link to your system.  Pull the quick release and the karabiner is released from the element.
