Stainless 25mm D Ring mounted on a thick polyester reinforced PVC patch.
Idea for canoe air bag & kit anchor points
Glue the patch to the canoe floor to make an anchor to tie off air bags & kit.
Sea Kayak Stow Kit = Four 10cm diam patches with eyelets plus two lengths of shockcord. (pump not included in kit)
Score each surface with sand paper & then clean with alcohol wipes before applying an appropriate glue. Position the anchor so that the tension pulls on the D ring along the length of the webbing at a low angle to the patch . Avoid direct vertical pulling on the D ring as the patch is weakest in this direction of pull.
