|
Photo Left: New size Pressure Deck designed exclusively to fit the smaller cockpits of the NDK Echo and Pilgrim sea kayaks |
FORCE PRESSURE
Force Deck 4mm neoprene 8mm red shockcord Flexgrid top jersey enhancement Generous hand brushed hydro-rubber coating underside The Force deck is super easy to put on with the added bonus of the positive grip provided by the underside creating a great waterproof seal with the cockpit |
Pressure Deck
4mm robust neoprene 10mm black shockcord Flexgrid top jersey enhancement Generous brushed hydro-rubber coating underside Robust aramid flexible reinforced rim Orange release tab External tape seam protection The Pressure deck is a high performance whitewater & dynamic sea kayaking deck. The reinforcement covers all the areas that may be exposed to knocks & scuffs on the rim to the very back of the deck. The powerful 10mm shockcord will lock the deck on solidly to resist the water pressures of whitewater & heavy seas. |
Gripper Deck 4mm robust neoprene 11.5mm black/red shockcord Generous hand brushed latex coating underside Wide flexible reinforced rim Red contrast stitching & release tab The Gripper deck has a monstrously powerful 11.5mm shockcord to offer a mega vice grip onto your deck. For paddlers who aspire to big waterfalls or to drop down into the dark green depths of a seam. This is an extreme deck for those with strong thumbs. |

Sizes
The chart indicates what sizes are available. New Size : NDK Small deck made specially to fit the Pilgrim & Echo - available as the Pressure deck Fitting on a deck To put on start at the back of the cockpit push the shockcord into the rim then push and stretch the deck forward and slot the shockcord over the front, finally work the side edges over the rim. Always ensure the release tab is visible on top of the deck; if it is trapped underneath the deck then the deck cannot be released. To release the deck, grab the release tab and pull up and back. Before use training and practise in spraydeck release and kayak exit is essential. |
Which Tube Size?
The body tube size on the chart refers to the actual circumference of the static neoprene, make your choice given there is stretch in the material. Note however that the tube will wrap around your torso between the belly button and lower rib area rather than where your trouser waist is positioned, so consider your body size at that area.
