The device is made of 6mm 16/16 braid red polyester cord which is wrapped around a 7mm marine grade stainless ring and secured with a double fisherman's knot.
There is a robust rubber band holding the wraps tight on the ring and it pre-sets the position of the Fisherman's knot to be close the ring. Overall length size M 42cm Size L 54cm |

We offer two lengths of prussik to enable a double rope grab. The two prussiks are tied onto the haul line close together and the rings will then meet together to share the load. This therefore distributes the grab force exerted onto the haul line which reduces the damage to the haul line caused by the grab knots. It also increases the effective grab force .

The ring is ready to receive a karabiner, or multiple karabiners, rope or instantly act as a pulley with the Whetman Equipment Python webbing to create a Pig Rig or external mechanical advantage system. The cord is wrapped around the ring which stablises the load and the rubber prevents the ring travelling around the loop. |

Training & Practise
As with all river rescue kit training is essential before use to ensure correct & safe application of the device. The Ring Pull is one element of the Whetman Equipment Pig Rig which includes two Ring Pulls and two 5m webbing Pythons. After training grab the kit & practise rigging on dry land on a regular basis.
